Sec. 18. And be it enacted. That no policy or con-
tract of insurance shall be issued by the said com-
pany until an amount of property equal to the
value of fifty thousand dollars is offered and con-
tracted to be insured. |

take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT for the re-payment out of the Storage and
Outage on Tobacco, of monies heretofore de-
manded and received by the Inspectors of To-
bacco, in violation of the Acts of eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-four. Chapter three hundred and
forty-six, and eighteen hundred and sixty-five,
Chapter one hundred and ninety-four. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the several Tobacco Inspec-
tors in the city of Baltimore, be, and they are
hereby authorized and directed to repay out of the
moneys received by them, or to be received for
storage and outage on Tobacco, all sums of money
which have been improperly paid to them respect-
ively, since the tenth day of March eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-four, for storage of Tobacco in their
respective Warehouses, before the same was sold
by the grower thereof or his agent, in violation of
the Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-four,
chapter three hundred forty-six, and eighteen
hundred and sixty-five, chapter one hundred and
ninety-four. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from its passage. |
