A bill to pay to. John Quigley, a private in Pattery B,
first Maryland Light Artillery, the same amount of bounty
which has been paid under the Act of 1864, chapter 15, to
other members of said Battery;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Finance.
A bill to repeal section 3, of Article 93, of the Code of
Public General Laws, passed March 24, 1865, entitled, "Tes-
tamentary Laws," to come in after section 328 of said Arti-
cle, and to re-enact the same with amendments;
Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Philpot, Turner and Eaton.
A bill to repeal the second sub-section of an Act passed on
the second day of March, 1804, and to re-enact the same
with, amendments;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.
A bill to repeal sections 43 and 49 of Article 5, of the
Code of Public General Laws relating to appeals from County
Commisssioners, and re-enact the same with amendments;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit"
tee on Judicial Proceedings.
Mr. Tome, from the committee on Finance, to which was
referred the following bills:
A bill in favor of J. Heimelhaver and others;
A bill providing for the sale of the Government House;
A bill in favor of J. P. Bayly;
A bill providing for refurnishing the Executive Chamber;
A bill in favor of J. H. Emerson and others;
Reported them without amendment and they
Were re id the second time.
Mr. Ohr. from the committee on Internal Improvements,
to which was referred the following bills;
A bill supplementary to the New York and Baltimore
Transportation Company;
Reported it without amendment;
And it was read the second time.
