A bill supplementary to the Philadelphia Steamboat Com-
pany;
Reported it with an amendment;
"Which, was read and adopted, and the bill was read the
second time.
Mr. Wells, from the committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill amending the Code relating to
opening streets in Hagerstown;
Reported it without amendment;
And it was read the second time.
Mr. Mackall'; from the committee on Corporations, to
which was referred the bill to increase the capital of the
Powhattan Steamboat Company;
Reported it without amendment;
And it was read the second time.
Mr. Earle, from the Select Committee to which was re-
ferred the bill to encourage and facilitate immigration in this
State;
Reported, it with amendments;
Which were read and adopted and it was read the second
time.
Mr. Mackall, from. the Select Committee to which was re-
ferred. the bill incorporating the Plum Point Wharf Com-
pany;
Reported it without amendment and
It was read the second time.
Mr. Wells, from the committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill in favor of J. E. Pearson and
others,
Reported "said bill ought not to pass,"
The report was adopted, and
The bill rejected and returned to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Tome, from the-committee on Corporations, reported
without amendment the bill repealing sections of the Code
relating to Allegany county;
