Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Judicial Proccedins.
A bill to authorize the County Commissioner;-! or Allegany
county to subscribe to the capital stock of the Western Ma-
ryland Railroad Company, or endorse the bonds thereof;
Which was read the firs"; time and referred to the commit-
tee on Internal linprovement;.
A bill appropriating a sum of money to pay Richard. M.
Williams, for professional services; Joseph Ebaugh, Sheriff
of Carroll county, for services rendered the State;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Finance.
A hill to incorporate the President, and Directors of the
Monumental City Fire Insurance Company;
Which was read the first time and referred, to the commit-
tee on Corporations,
A bill to incorporate the Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance
company of' Carroll county;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Cooperations.
A hill to repeal sections two and three of an Ac t passed at
January session, 1865, chapter 49, entitled, an Act to amend
an Act, entitled, an Act to did and encourage enlistments into
the Marylan Regiments, in the service of the United States,
passed 1864, chapter 15, and to provide for the prompt pay-
ment of the bunties therein specified, and to repeal section
bounties therein specified payable to the widows and heirs of
deceased soldiers, and to re-enact and amend the same;
Which was read the first time and. referred to the commit-
tee on Finance.
A bill to regulate the issuing of license 'for the sale of
spirituous or fermented, liquors within the limits of the town
of Cecilton in Cecil county;
Which was read the first time and referred to the Senator
from Cecil.
A bill to incorporate the Plum Point Wharf company;
Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Mackall, Vickers and Davis, of Washington.
A bill to appropriate a sum of money to pay 11. P. Bayly
for printing extra copies of the Constitution of;' Maryland, by
order of this General Assembly, at its session of 1865) 5;
