A bill entitled, a supplement to an Act entitled, an Act to incorporate the President and Directors of the Maryland Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, Maryland, passed at the January session, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on Corporations, A bill to authorize the Governor of the State and the Comptroller and Treasurer, to convey to the United States of America, the Government House and ground belonging to this State, in the city of Annapolis, and to procure other site and buildings in lieu thereof; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on Finance. A bill to incorporate the Insulated Lines Telegraph Com- pany; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on Corporations. A bill entitled, a supplement to the Act entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Philadelphia Steamboat Company passed at December session, eighteen hundred and forty-three, chapter one hundred and fifty-eight; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on Corporations. A bill to repeal section seventy-four of article thirteen of the Code of Public Local Laws, and re-enact the same with amendments; Which was read the first time and referred to the commit- tee on Judicial Proceedings. A bill 1 to amend article twenty-one of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to Washington county, by adding there- to additional sections, authorizing the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown to open streets and alleys in said town; |
