out the written order of the parent or guardian of
such minor, and any person violating the provisions
of this Section shall be liable to indictment in the
Circuit Court of St. Mary's county, nor shall it be
lawful for any person licensed to sell spiritous or
fermented liquor, in the village of Charlotte Hall,
to sell, dispose of, barter or give liquor of any kind
or in any quantity, to be drank in any store, pub-
lic place, or at any place within two miles of said
village, other than a private dwelling, and upon
conviction thereof shall be fined a sum not less than
fifty dollars, nor more than two hundred dollars
for the first offence, and if convicted the second
time for a like offence, be fined a sum not less than
one hundred nor more than five hundred dollars,
and be confined in the jail of said county until said
fines shall be paid the fines herein incurred, to be
collected in the same manner as similar fines are
now collected by law. |

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after its passage. |

AN ACT to repeal the Act passed at January
Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, Chap-
ter one hundred and fourteen, entitled, an Act
to repeal the tenth Section of Article eleven of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the
oath of Attorneys and other Practitioners of
Law, and to enact a substitute therefor, and to
repeal the tenth Section of the eleventh Article
of the Code of Public General Laws, titled At-
torneys at Law and Attorneys in fact, sub-title
Attorneys at Law, and to enact a Section in
lieu of the said tenth Section. |
