AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
George W. Morgan, David dark and the heirs
of James G. Allnutt, Tobacco Commissioners. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Trea-
sury, be and he is hereby authorized and required
to draw his warrant on the Treasurer of the State
to pay George W. Morgan, David Clark and the
heirs of James G. Allnutt, the amount of seven
hundred and fifty dollars—two hundred .and fifty
dollars each. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from its passage. |

AN ACT to repeal the twenty-seven and twenty-
eight Sections of Article eighteen of the Public
Local Laws, entitled, St. Mary's county, and
sub-titled Charlotte Hall. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections twenty-seven and
twenty-eight of Article eighteen of the Public Lo-
cal Laws, entitled, St. Mary's county and sub-
titled Charlotte Hall, be and the same is hereby
repealed, and re-enacted so as to read as follows. |
Unlawful to
sell or give spi-
ritous liquors
to minors. |
Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That it shall not be law-
ful for any person, whether licensed to sell spirit-
ous liquors or not, to sell, dispose of, barter or
give, within the village of Charlotte Hall, or with-
in two miles thereof, either directly or indirectly,
any spiritous or fermented liquors or cordials of
any kind, or in any quantity whatever to any youth
or minor under the age of twenty-one years, with- |
