200 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 6, Mr. Vickers, from the committee on Corporations, to which was referred; 'The bill entitled, an Act supplementary to the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company; Reported it without amendment; And it was read the second time; and On motion of Mr. .Frazier, It was read the third time by special order, three-fourths concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
Mr. Davis, of Washington—1. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Eaton, from the Select committee, reported a bill en- titled, an Act providing for an increase of police commission- ers in Baltimore city; Which was read the first time. and by special order the second time, three-fourths concurring, and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Mr. Eaton, from the Select committee to which, was refer - ed the bill entitled, an Act authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, to endorse the bonds of Gwynn's Falls Railroad. Company; Reported it without amendment; and It was read the second time, and by special order the third time, three-fourths concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
