The question upon its adoption was determined in the neg- ative. On motion of Mr. Ohr, it was Ordered, That the .Senate meet in Executive Session at 5 o'clock P. M. Mr. Frazier, from the Committee on Corporations, to which was referred the bill amending the charter of the Mineral Hill Mining Company; Reported it with an amendment; Which was read and adopted, and the hill was read the second time. Also, a hill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland Land and Emigration Company; With an amendment, Which was read and adopted: And the bill was read the second time. Which was read and adopted: Also, a bill entitled,; in Act incorporating a company to make a Turnpike Road in Baltimore count}'; With an amendment; And it was read the second. time. Mr. Turner reported from the committee on corporations; A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Union Trust Company of Baltimore; Which was read the first time. Also, reported without amendment; The hill entitled, an Act authorizing the South Baltimore Company to hold land; And it was read the second time. Also;', reported without amendment; A bill entitled, an Act repealing the charter incorporating the town of Denton, in Caroline county, and enacting a new bill: Which was read the second time and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. |
