Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Internal Improvements.
A hill to revive the Act of Incorporation of New Windsor,
in Carroll county;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
A bill for repairing and furnishing the Governor's Man-
sion;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Finance.
A bill to incorporate the Leitersburg Lamp and Tinware
Manufacturing Company;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
A bill to compensate Isaac E. Pearson for services rendered
as State's Attorney, for Carroll county; also, to refund to
Joseph Logsden, of E., certain money erroneously paid into
the Treasury as Collector of Allegany county;
Which was read the first time and referred to the committee
on Judicial Proceedings.
A bill entitled, a further supplement to the act of 1860,
chapter;' 274, entitle 1, an act to' incorporate the Baltimore
and Liberty Turnpike Company;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
A bill to incorporate the Cherrystone Steam Navigation
Company;
Which was road the first, time and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
Also, returned the following bills severally endorsed "pass-
ed by yeas and nays. '
A bill to incorporate the Merchant's Steamship Line;
A bill to incorporate the Washington and Point Lookout
Railroad company;
A 1) 111 to authorize Will. H. Downs, of Anne Arundel
county, to act in the double capacity of Justice of the Peace
and Assistant Assessor;
Also, returned the hill to secure the completion of the Kent
county Railroad by the Kent, county Railroad company;
