[Feb. 5, Mr. Jenkins presented the petition of citizens of Charles county, in favor of the repeal or modification of the Regis- try Law; Which wag read and referred to the Committee on Elec- tions. Mr. Ohr submitted the following order: Ordered, That from and after 12-1/2- P. M. this day, all de- bate en i he Order of the Day, known as the Boom bill, shall cease, and the Senate shall confine its action to voting on the amendments to be proposed and bringing the bill to final action; Which was read; Mr. Stephenson moved to lay the order upon the table, Determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays as follow:
