Said resolutions was then sent to the House of Delegates. On motion of Mr. Clarke, Ordered, That when the Senate adjourn it stand adjourned until Monday next at 11 o'clock, A. M. Pending the amendments to the Boom bill; The Senate adjourned. MONDAY, February 5, 1866. Mr. Turner and Mr. '.Whitney presented petitions from merchants of Baltimore city, in favor of incorporating the Boom Company; Which were read and referred to the Committee upon that subject. Mr. Eaton presented the petition of S. Kirby and others against the passage of the bill: Which was read and referred to the same Committee. Mr. Eaton presented the petition of colored men of Mary- land, asking to be enfranchised; Which was read and referred to the Committee on Colored Population. 20 |
