BOND, Judge of the Criminal Court of Baltimore. CRIMINAL COURT OF BALTIMORE, Feb. I, 1866. Which was read. Mr. Vickers submitted the following resolution: Resolved, That the Senate consider the letter of the Hon. H. L. Bond, Judge of the Criminal court of Baltimore, ad- dressed to the Lieutenant Governor and read to the Senate, as a reply to a letter from a committee of the Senate address- ed to Judge Bond, as disrespectful to the committee, and as a consequence equally disrespectful to the Senate; Which was read; and On motion of Mr. Ohr, Was postponed to Monday evening next. Mr. Whitney presented the petition of citizens of Balti- more city, in favor of incorporating a Boom company. Mr. Turner presented similar petitions. Mr. Eaton presented similar petitions. Mr. Tome presented similar petitions. Which were read. and referred to the committee upon that subject. On motion of Mr. Billingsley of St. Mary's, Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal, that the Senator from Somerset county is absent from his seat in con- sequence of the illness of his family. The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the following message: BY THE HOUSE Of DELEGATES, February 3, 1866. Gentlemen of the Senate: We herewith return to you, according to request, House bill entitled, an Act to amend 31st section of article 26 of the Code of Public General Laws of this State, entitled "Corpora- tions."
