On motion of Mr. Trail,
The Senate reconsidered the vote adopting the unfavorable
report of the committee; and,
On motion of Mr. Trail,
It was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follow:

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
The Senate resumed the consideration of the order of the
day it being the bill to incorporate the Boom company;
Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment;
Section 8, line 3, after word "secured" insert the words
"diligently and;"
Which was read and adopted.
Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment;
Add to section 9, "unless the same shall be unavoidably
carried therein by force of the current or stress of weather;"
Which was read and rejected by yeas and nays as follow:
