So much as relates to Governor Bradford to a Special com- mittee of five. Which was read and adopted. The Chair appointed as Select committee, in relation to Governor Bradford, Messrs. Trail, Ohr, Turner, Lansdale and Vickers. Mr. Ohr, from the Select committee, reported a bill to in- corporate the Workingmen's Co-operative Store of Cumber- land; Which was read the first time, and referred to the com- mittee on Corporations. Also, a bill incorporating the Allegany Vine-Growing Man- ufacturing Association; Read the first time, and referred to the committee on Cor- porations. Mr. Ohr, from the Select committee, reported a bill for the protection of Slicep in Allegany county; Read the first time, and referred to the committee on Agri- culture. Mr. Ohr presented the petition of J. Welsh and others of Allegany county; Referred to the committee on Judicial Proceedings. On motion of Mr. Ohr, Leave was granted Messrs. Ohr, Tome and Lansdale, to report a bill to pay Whitney, Medeary and Gushing for booby for Registration of Births, Marriages and Deaths. On motion of Mr. Ohr, Leave was granted the committee on Jud eiary, to report a. bill to repeal section 133 of article 20 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments." On motion of Mr. Tome, Leave was granted the committee on Finance, to report a bill to refund to E. A. Small and others, amounts erroneous- ly paid into the Treasury. On motion of Mr. Tome, Ordered, That when the Senate adjourns to-day it stands adjourned till Monday next at 12 o'clock, The Senate adjourned, |
