1866.3 OF THE SENATE. 159 Mr. Trail moved to adjourn; Determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays as follow :
THURSDAY, February 1, 7 1/2 P. M. Mr. Whitney submitted the following order: Ordered, That the joint committee appointed to wait on Congress in regard to the Railroad Bill and the Harbor of Baltimore, be and they are hereby directed to continue their labors on those subjects with Congress till completed; and the Comptroller be and he is hereby directed to draw his warrant on the Treasurer for the necessary expenses certified by the chairman of said committee; Which was read. Mr. McMaster moved to lay it upon the table, Which motion he withdrew, and Mr. Whitney withdrew the order. |
