Levin Graham, a witness produced on behalf of claimant
being duly sworn, answers and says:
To the first interrogatory :
A. About 45 years, I am said to be 45 years, not that I
know it myself; been a voter 20 years, I expect; resided in
1865 in Barren Creek District.
2d.
A. Did apply, believing myself as loyal a man as there
was; took the oath; answered all the questions so far as I
understood them, except when they asked if I was in favor
of money and men, I said, I never was in favor of their hav-
ing me; they sent an officer with a summons to come back
again; I came before them according to the summons; said I,
gentlemen, what have you summoned me before you for;
