A. I don't recollect; there might have been two or three,
er a half a dozen.
4th. At which of t'heir sittings did you make your second
application?
A. The last of their regular days.
5th. Was their not, a large number making application on
that day ?
A. There were some but I don't remember how many.
6th. When you first applied did the officers of registration
refuse to administer the oath required by. law ?
A. They asked me if I would take the oath, I answered,
not on that day,
To the first interrogatory.
A. I shall answer none of those questions.
