90 George A. Noble, a witness produced for the claimant, be- ing duly sworn, answers and says: 1st: A.; 53 years, been a voter 32 years; resided in 1865 in 4th election district. 2d: A. Did apply; was notified of no charge; was confronted with no witnesses; took the oath; was not registered as a qualified voter. 3d: A. Did not vote; because the paper stuck up showed I was disfranchised; went to the polls but did not offer to vote; would lave ioted for John R. Franklin. 4th; Waived. Cross-Examination. To the first cross-interrogatory: A. Don't know that I did. 2d: A. As I don't recollect much about that. 3d: A. I don't recollect much about that. 4th: A.
