"William H White, a witness produced on the part of the claimant, being duly sworn, answers and says; To the first interrogatory,: A. 53 years, been a voter 32 years, resided in Dames Quarter during 1865. 2d: A. I applied, was notified of no charge, confronted with no witnesses, took the oath. 3d: A. I did not vote because I was told I was disfranchised, and couldn't vote, and so didn't offer; would have voted for Mr. Franklin. 4th: Waived. Cross-Examination: To first Cross-interrogatory filed herewith: A. No, sir, I never was in for nary man, I never was no party man. 2d: A. No, sir, for I didn't know when it was. ad: A.
