4th. Was or not, a book purporting to be a registration
of voters in the 'Smith's Island District or District No. 12, of
said County, deposited with you as Clerk, on or before the
day of election, November 7th, 1805; and was not a list of
qualified voters of said District No. 12, filed with you as such
Clerk, on or before the said day of election? If any such
book or list was filed with you as such clerk, after the said
day of election for said District No. 12, state by whom and
when, ana in whose hand-writing is the said list if any, and
all the signatures thereto, if you know or have any and what
reason to believe?

1st. Wliat is your occupation and where and how were you
employed during the past summer and autumn ?
2d. If you have any knowledge of the notices published in
Somerset County, purporting to be by "omeers of Registra-
tion," .state whether or not the names of any persons were
appended to any of such notices, and state how they were
signed, in what paper or papers published, and whether the
handbills containing notices of said officers were or not in the
same form, and whether or not the said notices, were printed
by you or under your direction ?
3d. Look upon the printed slip now shown you and state
whether or not that slip-is taken from one of the newspapers
printed by you, and whether or not all the notices printed in
said paper or otherwise published or printed by you, were
identical in terms except the change of place and number of
the Election Districts ?
