Judgeship in 12th Jud. Cir. QUESTIONS FILED BY CONTESTANT. 1. Were you an officer of registration in any election dis- trict in Somerset county ? If yea, in what district, ? 2. As such officer, did you take the oath prescribed by law, and subscribe the same in the book of registration for such district ? 3. Did you, in the discharge of your duties, enter on the register of qualified voters the names of all persons applying to you for registration, who, in your judgment, were entitled, under the Constitution and laws, to be registered as qualified voters ? 4. Did you refuse to enter upon the register of qualified voters the name of any person applying to be registered as a qualified voter, except upon the evidence of witnesses, the conduct and answers of the applicant before you, or facts or declarations within your personal obserrvation or hearing, which, in the exercise of your judgment, were sufficient to exclude him from registration? 5. Did you discharge your official duties as an officer of registration in all things, and toward all persons appearing before you for registration, faithf'ully and impartially, and without malice or prejudice? |
