A bill to regulate the relation of creditor and debtor be-
tween the State of Maryland and the Susquehanna and Tide
Water Canal companies;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Finance.
A bill to incorporate the Baltimore Rifle Target Shooting
Association;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
A bill to incorporate the Baltimore and Havana Steamship
company;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
A bill to authorize and empower the County Commission-
ers of Washington county to assume a just proportion of the
debt assumed by the Mayor and Councilmen of the town of
Hagerstown, known as the McCausland debt;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Finance.
A bill to incorporate the Hagerstown Lumber and Coal
company;
Which was read the first time and referred, to the commit-
tee on Corporations.
A bill to change the name of William Baker Lowdermilk,
of Cumberland, Allegany county, to Will. H. Lowdermilk;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.
A bill to protect timber of any kind whatsoever in Dorches-
ter county;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.
A bill to repeal seven hundred and ninety-eight, seven
hundred and ninety-nine and eight hundred and two, of Ar-
ticle four, of the Code of Public Local Laws, and to re-enact
the same with amendments thereto, relating to the abate-
ment of nuisances;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.
