11 I have long had a view to going to Maryland to settle, but reasons not here to speak of, have kept me from it but the bar- rier has been removed and I with score of others are anxious now to make Maryland our home. I am a poor man unable to buy land where I now reside on account .of its high price knowing as I do, that I can buy letter land, for less money in Maryland than I can here, and this phamphlet if I understand it by the advertisement in the newspaper will so instruct me, that I will know what part of the State to go to look for land.
