Also, reported a bill to make valid the acts of the commis- sioners of Cambridge, Dorchester county, and to authorize the election of five commissioners for said town ; Which was read the first time. Mr. Billingsley, of St. Mary's, submitted joint resolu- tions giving to Admiral Porter the privileges of the floor ; Which were read the first time; and, On motion of Mr. Billingsley, of St. Mary's, Were read the second time by special order, three-fourths concurring, and ordered to be engroseed for a third reading ; Read the third time by special order, and passed by veas and nays as follow :
Said resolutions were then sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Billingsley, of St. Mary's, submitted the following message: BY THE SENATE, January 29th, 1866. Gentlemen of the Souse of Delegates: The Senate have the honor to inform your Honorable Body that they have passed the accompanying resolutions, and re- spectfully request your concurrence therein. We have appointed on the part of the Senate Messrs. Bil- lingsley of St. Mary's, Frazier and Ohr to act with such gentlemen as may be selected by your Honorable Body. By Order, C. HARWOOD.
