Reported it with amendments;
Which were read and adopted; and
The bill was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Mr. Frazier, from the committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill incorporating the Merchants Steamship
Line, reported with an amendment adding an additional sec-
tion ;
Which was read and adopted, and the bill was read the
second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
Read the third time by special order, three-fourths concur-
ring and passed by yeas and nays as follow:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Clarke,
Davis, of Caroline,
Davis, of Washington,
Earle,
Eaton,
Frazier,

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
Mr. McNeal submitted a report and joint resolutions upon
the Library:
Mr. Vickers moved to lay them upon the table;
Determined in the negative.
The report and resolutions were then read the first time.
Mr. Tome, from the committee on Finance, reported a bill
entitled, an Act appropriating a sum of money to the Union
Orphan Asylum of Baltimore city;
Which was read the first time, and,
On motion of Mr. Tome,
It was read the second time, by special order, three fourths
concurring, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
Read the third time,by special order and passed by yeas and
nays as follow:
