108 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 29,
On motion of Mr. Frazier,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to report
a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Union Trust Com-
pany of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Frazier,
Leave was granted the committee on Judicial Proceedings
to report a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 5-1. or article
10, of the "Public Local Laws," relating to Dorchester
county.
On motion of Mr. Turner,
Leave was granted the Baltimore City Senators, to report a
bill entitled, an Act to prevent the sale of liquors within half
a mile of the New Alms House, situated at Canton, Baltimore
county.
On motion of Mr. Clarke,
Leave was granted the committee on Internal Improve-
ments, to report a bill entitled, an Act repealing the Act of
18(i0, chapter 293, relating to the "Baltimore and Potomac
Railroad Company."
On motion of Mr. Waters,.
Leave was granted the committee on Finance to report a
bill entitled, an Act to compensate Littleton B. Polk, of
Somerset county, for services rendered the State of Maryland.
Mr. Ohr, from the committee on Internal Improvements,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act incorporating
the Union Railroad Company of Baltimore, and to authorize
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, the Northern Cen-
tral, and the Western Maryland Railroad Company, and the
Canton Company, to endorse the mortgage bonds of the said
Company,
Reported said bill with amendments;
Which were read and adopted; and
The bill was read the second time.
Mr. Ohr, from the committee on Elections, reported a bill
entitled, an Act to enfranchize the persons therein mentioned;
Which was read the first time and re-committed to the com-
mittee on Elections.
Mr. Ohr, from the committee on Internal Improvements,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to secure the
completion of the Kent County Railroad by the Kent County
Railroad Company,
