1866.] OF THE SENATE. 107 The question upon its adoption was Determined in the negative. On motion of Mr. Eaton, Leave was granted Messrs. Eaton, Turner and Jenkins to report a bill entitled, an Act relating to the colored popula- tion of Maryland. On motion of Mr. Billingslea, of Carroll, Leave was granted the select committee to report a bill en- titled an Act to prevent the sale of intoxicating liquors within three miles of the town of Fallston, Harford county, and on and within one mile of the Post route from Fallston to Magnolia. Mr. Ohr submitted the following order: Ordered, That from and after to-day, bills relating to the subject embraced in the Governor's Message, shall at the morning session have priority over all other bills until dis- posed of; Which was adopted by yeas and nays as follow:
On motion of Mr. Frazier, Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to report a bill entitled, an Act to make valid the official Acts of the Commissioners of Cambridge in Dorchester county, and authorize them to elect five commissioners for said town. On motion of Mr. Frazier, Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to report a bill entitled, an Act to make valid the official acts of the Commissioners of Vienna, in Dorchester county, and autho- rize them to elect five commissioners for said town. |
