Attourney att Law. ---------- Here followeth the forme of the Oath taken by the aforesd Sangster. ----------------------------------------------- You shall sweare that well and truly you shall Serve theire Maties. in the Office of theire Maties Attourney in the said County and do his Maties profit in all things that belongeth to you to doe by way of your Office as far forth as you can or may you shall not reveal or disclose theire Maties comons in any matter or cause whereby theire Maties may suffer detrmt. you shall prosecute all Offenders against the Pease of the said County as they shall come to your knowledge according to Law, you shall not advise or be of Counsel with any person or persons against theire Majesties in any matter or thing tryable in the said County, you shall endeavour truly to keep theire Maties. Rights and all that belongeth to them in ye the said County, you shall not assent to decrease lesson or conseale any of theire Matis. Rights or ffranchises in the said County or whensoever you shall have knowledge that theire Maties. Rights consealed have been or withdrawne, be it Lands, Rents ffranchises or suites or any other thinig in the County aforsaid you shall to your true power make them to be restored to theire Maties againe, and if you may not doe it, you shall certifie the C Justices of the Peace of the said County and his Maties Attorney of the Prov. there of and further you shall use your selfe in Attorney for theire Maties. for the County aforesaid and ---- your best skills & knowledge.
