March 15th (70) 1689/90 To the Worll Comissioners of Somerset County. the humble Petition of Jno Starret sheweth That your Petioner was Sumoned to attend at Court as an Evidence for Thomas Everdon agt Robert Cattlin, and did attend Court in sd action five dayes besides Comeing and going for which your Petioner Craves allowances and your Petioner as in duty bound shall pray. Then John: Starrett made Oath to the truth of the above written Petion befor me. Edmund: Howard. - - - - - - - - - - - Order for the same & one day going To the Worll. Justices of their Maties Peace for this County of Somerset the Petition of John Bodon humbly Sheweth - - - - - That your Petitioner hath attended as evidence in A plea depending between Thomas: fflenwick plt, and Wm: ffossett deft. at this Court the full space of six dayes. Your humble petioner Craves Order for payment of my Charges and your petitioner as dutifull shall every pray &. Petion Sworne to before mr Edmund: Howard. order for ye same Somersett County in Maryland. To the Worll Justices of their Maties Peace for this County of Somerset The Petion of Thomas. Tyer and John Dorman humbly sheweth that your Worships Petioners have attended this Court as Evidences for James: Barry plt. agt Thomas: Pool. defendt your Petioners humbly craves. being here eight dayes each of us that your Worships would be pleased to order us our charges and your humble petioners as dutifull shall ever pray &c. order granted for the same. To their Maties Justices of the Peace for Somerset County the humble Petion of William Jones humbly Sheweth. --- That your petioner hath attended this Court as an Evidence in a Certain business - between mr Edmund: Howard plt. and Henry Sadury deft seven dayes coming and going which which your petitioner craves order for and as in duty shall ever pray. order granted for ye same To the Worll. Court of Somerset County your Petioner humbly sheweth that by some neglect of the Jury they did omit what they once intended. and is still their judgments that in that suite depending between mr Thomas; ffenwick and your petioner. your petioner ======== should pay One ~ Suffitient Cow, and the said Thomas: ffenwick the Charge of the suit. your petitioner humbly craves that your Worships would be pleased to examine the Jury about the same, there being no other thing intended by the Jury, and your petioner as bound shall pray &c. William ffossett Upon wch petition being Read the Court referrs ffossett to the Jury their verdict being entered - - - - - - - - - To the Worll. their Maties Justices of the Peace for Somerset County the humble petion of John: Bennett and Thomas Tyer Sheweth that whereas Donnom: Oloufman hath petioned to have a Road your Petioner humbly Craves your worships to order that two men may view where the Road must be made and your Petioners as in duty bound shall ever pray &. - - - - - To which petion the sd Bennet and Tyer speaking to in Court. the Court demanded what time they proposed to perfect the road abovesd, which the sd Bennett and Tyer promised to Court to have done by the last of June in Such manner as Should be satisfactory both to the Court and neigbours. upon wch the matter ended - - - Petion granted. |
