The Plt ---------------------------------- produces this following Bill which was in Crt. read This Bindeth me William Morris of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland my Heirs. Execcutors, Admrs or Assigns to pay or cause to be paid unto Laurence / Crawford of Northampton County in Virginia his Heirs, Execcutors Adms or Assigns the full and just sum of Twenty Six shilllings sterling money or Tobacco or Porke at prise current to the choyse and likeing of the said Crawford. which he will have not withstanding any Law to the Contrary, to be paid upon all demands at some convenient place upon Pocomoke River (according to Law) as witness my hand and Seale this 24th of May 1688. -------------------------------------------------------- William: Morris ?seale Signed sealed and delivered in presence of John: Luke.
