The Petion of Mary Innis humbly sheweth - - - - - - - That whereas Samuel. Innis. the late husband of your worps petioner deceased in March last, your worps petioner desires of your worps letters of Administration and yr humble petioner as in duty bound shall ever pray &c;. - - - - - - Petion being read was granted the Said Mary giving Security according to Law &c. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - To y Worll. Justices of Somerset County now in Court Sitting. the humble Petion of Charles: Loe humbly Sheweth that yr petioner was Sumoned in Cause depending between Alexander Thomas plt and Thomas: Larramore deft on part of the defendt again last June Court was two years and your petioner attended eight dayes and going and coming six dayes which amounts to fourteen dayes being three Courts, your petioner Craves your worps Order for his due and your petioner in duty bound shall pray Petion ye sd Loe made Oath to. Order granted for the Same Donack Dennis being attached to answer unto what should be objected agt him by their Maties Justices of the Peace in March Court last. the sd Dennis then appearing but for want of Evidences his tryall was deferred till this Court. his Offence being considered as appears folio 57: was only fined for being drunk. he being Ordered to pay Court Charges. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Lodowick: ffleming in folio 135 being fined 500lb. of tobacco. which fine this Court, was remitted. Mary. Berry being bound to prosecute mr Peter Bodkin , but contrary to Court Order did not appear at Bodkins tryall. therefore was Sumond to this Court. upon her humble supplication was acquitted paying fees &c. Maryland Somerset Count Ssc. Theire. Majesties Whereas divers complaints have been lately made by Wm: Woodland of agt. this County agt George Seaward of this County Calker of divers misdeameanors George: Seaward. by the sd Seaward comitted &c. upon which although no warrant formerly Issued on the former complaint, yet I have taken pains to goe to ye house of the sd Woodlands to enquire into the truth of the Complaint and did then find Cause that the sd Seaward should either remove his quarters from Woodlands or put in good Security for his good behaviour which the sd Seaward formerly promised faithfully to performe upon Wm Woodland forewarning him of his house, yet Notwithstanding the sd Woodland Complaineth that yesterday being ye 21th. of this Instant he the sd Seaward took and carryed away the sd Woodlands Wife against his Will on the River who was constrained to follow after them to gett her again &c. that he audaciously and contempt =uously agt their Maties authority doth and hath often dared him to complain, as he terms me to his God =father, Justice Jenkins and above a hundred times that Boy Jenckins &c. -------- These are therefore in their Maties names Strictly to Charge & require you John: Walton Constable yt imediatly at sight hereof yu apprehend and take into your saif Custody the abovesd George: Seaward, & bring him either before me or some other of their Maties Justices of the Peace, to answer what shall be then and their objected agt him as well in their Maties.
