Comissioners of Somerset County, the humble Petion of John: Panter & Tho: Holbrook humbly sheweth that whereas yor Petioners being Security for Samuel: Heydon for the Estate of Sumner Adams, and the sd Heydon being now absented and Run away and fearing yr Petioners may be damnified through the imbeslemt of the Estate by them that hath it now in posession these are therefore humbly to pray yr worps. that some Care may be had for the Security of us your petioners and the Orphants Estate as your worships shall see most convenient in so necessary and important occasion and yr. Rattcliffe should be Overseer of the high wayes in the upper parts of the sea side, your Petioner sheweth that Capt. Rattcliffe has other Convenience for his transporting what he makes so that the roads are neglected, so that your Petioner and the rest of his neighbors are scarce able to pass with our teams to transport to the market place, therefore your Petioner humbly craves that the worll.
