The Declaracon being Read, and the accompt Sworne to by the sd Mr Jenkins in Court, the sd Jenkins

To the Worll. Comissioners of Somerset County, the humble Petion of John: Panter & Tho: Holbrook
humbly sheweth that whereas yor Petioners being Security for Samuel: Heydon for the Estate
of Sumner Adams, and the sd Heydon being now absented and Run away and fearing yr Petioners
may be damnified through the imbeslemt of the Estate by them that hath it now in posession
these are therefore humbly to pray yr worps. that some Care may be had for the Security of us your
petioners and the Orphants Estate as your worships shall see most convenient in so necessary
and important occasion and yr. Petioners as in duty bound shall pray.
This Petion by the Court Continued - - - - - - -

To the Worll. Court holden for Somerset County;. This humble Petion sheweth that Some years agoe
the
Courts pleasure to see it fitt Capt. Rattcliffe should be Overseer of the high wayes in the upper parts
of the sea side, your Petioner sheweth that Capt. Rattcliffe has other Convenience for his transporting
what he makes so that the roads are neglected, so that your Petioner and the rest of his neighbors
are scarce able to pass with our teams to transport to the market place, therefore your Petioner
humbly craves that the worll. Court would be pleased to appoint One to be overseer that is concerned
in transporting by land, then the roads will be better kept & yr Petioner shall pray.

To their Maties. Justices of the Peace for Somerset County the humble Petion of Walter Lodge, sheweth
that whereas mr Richard: ffarewell hath comenced Suit against your petioner hath attended this Court
a long time with my sureties, most humbly craves your worps would be pleased to call us to tryall

and your petioner as in duty shall ever pray. Walter Lodge. --------- no Result give ------

To the Worll. their Maties Justices of the Peace for Somerset County in Court sitting C The humble
Petion
of John:Starling and Richard: Barns humbly sheweth. ------ Whereas your Petioners was bound
for ffrancis Martins appearance to this Court, and the sd ffrancis has made his appearance and your
Petioners humbly desires your worships would be pleased to release us of our bond, and your Petioners
as in duty bound shall pray
Petion Read, but Continued by the Court
Order the Constables take in Custody all not residents, and to secure, till they give Security to the
Sheriffe or
to the Court for their Subsequent taxes.
