June 11th. 1690 (112) ------------------- Order processe Issue forth upon the presentments given in by Petty Jury for Orphants - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mr. Lawrence Crawford the 10th of June being fined for not tending as a Jury man being Legally Sumoned. - - - - and this day having plausible reasons his foresd fine remitted. Samuell. Worthington and Robert: Perry both Sworne Subsheriffs, this Court under mr Brereton the Coppie of which Oath (vide) folio 7: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Henry Miles being fined for not attending the Jury being legally Sumoned ---- but presently after the sd Henry came with such reasons as was by the Court acceptable and therefore his fine remitted ------ William Richardson Somersett County their Maties. Justices of Peace at their sitting in Court June 11th. day agt. 1690 . the petion of William Richardson humbly sheweth Arnold: Parramore That whereas Arnold Parramore late of this County at his death was indebted to your petioner four hundred and eighty four pounds of tobacco, as shall appear by accot. of which the Admr is well satisfied but refuses to make payment without judgmt. of Court for his security which your Petioner humbly craves, the premisses considered your petioner shall as in duty bound pray ------ Then was this following accot. produced in Court by sd Richardson. viz. Order for ye Ball. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Maryland to their Majestices Justices of Somersett County att their sitting in Court the 11th. day of June 1690 the Petion of Wm: Richardson humbly sheweth that whereas your Petioners Sisters hath due unto them Some land by their deceased ffather, which should have been made good to them by their Mother who since marryed Richard: Harris who hath not made good that land unto them according to the Will of their deceased ffather and the said Harris having Clandestinely left this County and having no estate in this County Except Land by which they can have relief, and the sd. Harris having Clandestinely made sale there of contrary to law he not appearing himselfe but making an Attorney, your Petioner humbly craves that his Attorney give Security to pay whatever be justly recovered at Law agt the sd Harris by the sister of your Petioner, or else that his Attorney may not convey Land, the premisses considered and granted your Petioner shall as in duty bound pray &c. The Petion being read. One John: Robbinson Attorney of the sd Harris Offers in Court to make over a parcell of Land to John: Barker, but the abovesd Richardsons petions considered, the proceedings was hindered, and Order that John: Barker appear next Court concerning ye premisses. C To the Worll. Comrs. of Somersett County Court in Court sitting, the humble Petion of William: White humbly prays that whereas your Petioner is an Orphant and having no guardian humbly prayes that your Petioner may have have liberty to chuse his Guardian and have what Estate is left him secured in his sd Guardian and as in duty bound shall pray. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - |
