To all Christian People to whom this deed of guift (101) shall or may come that I Edward: Hammon of the
County of Somerst
and Province of Maryland Sendeth greeting &c. Know ye that I the sd Edward. Hammon, for the good will &
affection
that I bear unto Arnoll: Shewell Sonn of Samuel: Shewell of the sd County &c. give, grant bestow and confirme
and by vertue
of this present deed of guift, freely realy absolutely and irrevocably, given bestowed and confirmed unto Arnoll:
Shewell
as abovesd, thre Cows, to witt one Cow of five years old, and two Cows of three years old, and One steare of two
years old, and
one yearling Heifer, all three Cows having each of them a Calfe by their side, marked viz the left ear being Cropt
and
under bitted and Over bitted and a slitt in the right ear, all which Cattel as above mentioned, I give grant and
Bestow upon
Arnol: Shewell as abovesd with their future increase female unto him his Heirs or Assigns for ever, and all the
male increase
that now is or shall accrew by the sd Cows I give grant and bestow unto Samuel: Shewell as aforesd his Heirs or
Assigns forever
and all the Male all which I doe promise for my selfe my Heirs to warrant and defend from all persons to the
abovesd Arnoll
as wittness my hand and seal this thirteenth day of June Ano. Domi. 1690.

To all people to whom this writing shall come greeting. Know yee that I Ann Buckland of Somersett County in ye
Province
of Maryland Widdow, as well for the satisfaction of the request and desire of my loving husband Richard
Buckland lately
deceased, and for other considerations me thereunto moving, have given, and by these presents doe give unto my
Son Richard
Buckland Sonn of the aforesd Richard Buckland deceased One Red Cow with a red Cow Calfe being marked with
a Cropt
or slitt in the left ear and a hole in the right ear, with the female increase of the same to him and his heirs and
Assignes
for ever, to be marked from time to time with the aforesd marke, being the marke of the sd Richard Buckland
deceased

also I have given and by these presents doe give unto my Sonn Richard: Buckland aforesd One peuter tankerd
stamped
within side the bottom with RB: and also one Iron pott for the use and behoof of the said Richard his Heirs &
Assigns
likewise if the said Richard Buckland my Sonn doe live untill he shall be eighteen years of Age he is to be free for
to act for himselfe according to the request and desore of his ffather deceased, In testimony to the truth above
written
I the said Ann: Buckland have hereunto Sett my hand and seal this seventh day of June Anno. Dom: 1690

Mr. Thomas: Newbold.. plt. Before tryall Came the defdt Thomas: Miller and did confess judgmt
agt. to the sd pt. for fifty Cutts of Cypress timber. and thereupon ye plt. Ordrd
Thomas: Miller. deft that the following Bill be Recorded. - - - - - - - - - - - - - -


Maryland. Know all men by these presents that I Thomas: Miller of Pocomoke in the County of Somersett doth
hereby acknowledge my selfe, my Heirs, Execcutors, Admrs or Assigns, to stand justly indebted unto Thomas
Newbold of the same County his Heirs and Assigns, in the full and just quantity of fourty and two larg Cutts
of good Suffitient five foot and halfe long, & eight Inches wide of Cypresse timber, each quarter to make
tenn good boards of three quarters of inch thick, to be dilivered at hodge quarter Landing, att or upon ye
15th. of ffeby next ensueing, being for one hd of Sider, and One barrel of Quince drinke recd of the said
Newbold for the sd timber, and likewise the sd Miller is to returne the sd hd and barrel when empty to the
sd Newbold at his landing, And the said Thomas; Miller doth hereby engage to assist the sd Newbold to make a
Raft to gett it to his landing, But if the sd Miller doth not forthwith Send the Caske when they are empty
then the sd Miller is to pay the sd Newbold five cutts of timber as above expressed for the sd Caske. in wittness
hereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal this 31th. of January 1687/8. his
