by this problem that may or may not be
able to be worked out by the Suffrage and
Elections Committee, I am wondering if it
would not be best to also make section 3.06,
assuming you do not have many other
amendments to that section, a special order
of business, too, rather than amend it now,
until we see what Suffrage and Elections
can do to resolve the problem.
I could state the problem briefly, I think.
THE PRESIDENT: Indicate briefly
what it is, please.
DELEGATE JOHNSON: Well, it devel-
ops in Suffrage and Elections because the
way it stands now, Mr. President. An indi-
vidual could register in any house district
of a county and move to some other house
district in that county, but legally maintain
his voting registration and his right to
vote in the original county.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Johnson,
if I may interrupt you, the Chair is fa-
miliar with that amendment. Delegate Ross
has spoken to me about it, and I have sug-
gested to her that she prepare the amend-
ment by Tuesday. It can be moved for
reconsideration of that article by the Com-
mittee on Style, and I think could be acted
upon on Tuesday.
I think the same thing could be done if
an amendment becomes necessary in con-
nection with it to 3.06 without postponing
consideration of 3.06.
Delegate Kosakowski.
DELEGATE KOSAKOWSKI: I rise on
a point of personal privilege.
THE PRESIDENT: State the privilege.
DELEGATE KOSAKOWSKI: Mr.
President, as announced by you, apparently
Tuesday is going to be a very important
day. I am wondering whether you are go-
ing to issue any boxing gloves to the mem-
bers and whether Tuesday, January 2,
could be designated as pugilistic day.
THE PRESIDENT: Well, I have as-
sumed, Delegate Kosakowski, that all dele-
gates who have not already done so will
have made their New Year's resolutions be-
fore next Tuesday and they will include a
resolution for love and sweetness for all.
Delegate Powers.
DELEGATE POWERS: In the same
context, we might as well dispose of the re-
maining matter that was mentioned, and
that is GP-0 on education. I therefore
move —

THE PRESIDENT: Just a second. I
think I have taken a vote on the other
question yet.
The question arises on the motion to
make sections 3.03, 3.04 and 3.23 special
order for the session on Tuesday immedi-
ately following consideration of the other
special order.
Is there any further discussion?
(There was no response.)
Are you ready for the question?
(Call for the question.)
All those in favor signify by saying Aye;
contrary, No. The Ayes have it. It is so
ordered.
Delegate Powers.
DELEGATE POWERS: I move that
Committee Report S&D-12 dealing with
Committee Recommendation GP-6 on edu-
cation be made a special order for Tues-
day, January 2, immediately following the
other matters which have previously been
made a special order for that day.
THE PRESIDENT: Second?
(Whereupon, the motion was duly sec-
onded.)
THE PRESIDENT: Is there any discus-
sion?
(Tli ere was no response.)
Are you ready for the question?
(Call for the question.)
The question arises on the motion to
make Committee Recommendation S&D-12,
covering; Committee Recommendation GP-6,
a special order for Tuesday, January 2,
1968, immediately following the previous
special order.
All in favor signify by saying Aye; con-
trary, No. The Ayes have it. It is so or-
dered.
Now, are there any other style amend-
ments with respect to any sections of the
Committee Recommendation LB-1, LB-2
and LB-3 other than sections 3.03, 3.04, and
3.23?
The Chair hears none.
The question arises on the adoption on
second reading of Committee Recommenda-
tion LB-1, LB-2 and LB-3, as amended,
with the exception of sections 3.03, 3.04 and
3.23.
