DELEGATE SHERBOW: Mr. Presi-
dent, the Committee on State Finance and
Taxation will continue its hearings tomor-
row at 10:00 A.M. All delegate proposals
before this committee are being scheduled
for hearing. All sponsors are receiving
notification. We want to be able to have the
sponsors at least heard by the end of next
week so that all matters before this com-
mittee can then be debated within the com-
mittee and reports sent to the floor or,
where they are completely unfavorable, fi-
nally disposed of before the committee.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Dulany.

THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Boyer.
DELEGATE BOYER: Mr. President,
the Committee on General Provisions will
continue its deliberations by hearing from
some scheduled witnesses this afternoon at
5:00 P.M. We will hear from Senator and
our esteemed Second Vice-President Wil-
liam James. We will adjourn for dinner and
then at 7:00 P.M. will hear from Mr. Mi-
chael Eisenberg, representing the Judicial
Community Council of Washington. After
that we will hear from some representa-
tives of the Seventh Day Adventists who
have requested to be heard. Tomorrow and
Wednesday we avoided having any sched-
uled witnesses so we can at least prelimi-
narily explore and investigate our own
thoughts on education from many valuable
contributions made by witnesses to date.
May I suggest to the Committee although
our first scheduled meeting does not begin
until 5:00 P.M., may I request you return to
our headquarters as soon as possible. We
have some internal affairs to take up be-
fore the witnesses. Thank you.
