At 11 o'clock we have the honor of hearing from
2
Governor J. Millard Tawes with reference to appointment
3
and judicial selection.
4
At noon we have scheduled a hearing for
5
Delegate Proposals No. 209, 210, and 307, all proposed by
6
Delegate Finch, who will be invited to appear before our
7
committee at that time. Thank you, sir.
8
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Sherbow.
9
DELEGATE SHERBOW: Mr. President, the Committee
10
on State Finance and Taxation will hear tomorrow the
11
visitors on the subject of lottery.
12
Thereafter each day we are setting down three,
13
four, five, six, and some days seven and eight proposals.
14
We want to assure all those who have introduced these
15
proposals they will be given all the time they need. But
16
we find by reason of cancellations and other events that
17
occur that the only way we can clean up our docket is to
18
put them in and hope they will come over and discuss these
19
proposals so that we can act on them.
