hearings as they go along.
THE PRESIDENT: Actually, as I understand it,
the principle hearing room, which is normally the
delegation room of the Baltimore City Delegation to the
House of Delegates, will accommodate more people than the
chamber, and the reason the officers suggested that the
house chamber not be used for hearings is because it is not
very well adapted to hearings, but also because the members
have papers in their desks, and we wanted to avoid
interference with those as much as possible.
Any further announcements by committee chairmen?
Delegate Mudd?
DELEGATE MUDD: Mr. President, the Committee
on the Judicial Branch meets again today at three p.m.,
at which time we have the honor and privilege of hearing
from Chief Judge Hammond of the Maryland Court of
Appeals. We will also resume hearings tomorrow morning
at ten a.m., with the three witnesses scheduled in the
morning. Thank you.
THE PRESIDENT: Further announcements by
committee chairmen? Delegate Boyer?
