A RESOLUTION of appreciationto the State Depart-

ment of Education.
|

|
WHEREAS, the Constitutional Convention of
|
|
11
|
Maryland, desiring to interest the youth of the State of
|
|
12
|
Maryland in the proceedings of the Convention and in its
|
|
13
|
purpose of improving State government, sought high school
|
|
14
|
students to serve as pages for the Convention, and
|
|
15
|
WHEREAS, the State Department of Education, through
|
|
16
|
the Superintendents of Schools of several of the counties
|
|
17
|
of the State, nominated high school senior students to serve
|
|
18
|
as pages for the Convention, and
|
|
19
|
WHEREAS, without exception, the persons who have
|
|
20
|
acted as pages have rendered excellent service, and have
|
|
21
|
contributed materially to the dispatch with the business of
