the Convention was conducted, by the willing and gracious

acceptance of the many tasks requested of them.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Consti-

4

tutional Convention of Maryland express its appreciation

5

to the State Department of Education for its assistance

6

in the successful page program of the Convention, and be

7

it further

RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be sent

9

to the State Department of Education and to the Superinten-

10

dent of Schools in each of the several counties participat-

11

ing in the page program.

THE PRESIDENT: I did not realize that there

13

were as many resolutions as there are.

Also, the action on these resolutions today does

15

require suspension of the rules. I therefore will have the

16

clerk read only the title of each resolution, so you will

17

know the subject matter to which it pertains; and then ask

Delegate Powers to move suspension of the rules to

19

consider and act upon each resolution.
