We pray Thy blessing to rest on the whole nation

of which we are a part; upon all those who have been

3

chosen to rule over us; upon the President and Congress and

4

Courts of the United States; upon the Governor and Legisla-

5

ture and Courts of this State. Grant that they may be

6

given wisdom from on high to rule with justice and in

7

equity. Fill us with the wondrous spirit of peace and

8

comfort, especially at this season of the year, and hasten

9

the day when men shall learn to live with brotherly love as

10

one, family, the world over.
