REVEREND SMITH: The Lord be with you. Let us

pray.

Almighty and eternal God, who art the Creator

10

of the whole universe and who has chosen to reveal Himself

11

and His will unto mankind: we give Thee hearty thanks

12

for those whom Thou hast called into this special service,

13

the complete revision of the Constitution of this State.

We pray that thou will be pleased to guide and

15

direct them on this day, that they may be enabled to think

16

Thy thoughts after Thee as preparation is made for this

17

task.

We thank You that Thou hast chosen that our

19

people should live an atmosphere of mercy and within the

20

framework of justice, and to this end these people are

21

assembled.
