Which was read.
    Mr. Swearingen, from the committee, brings in and delivers to the speaker a bill, entitled, 
An act to authorise and empower the levy court of Montgomery county to assess and levy annually
a sum of money for the support of Michael O'Daniel; which was read the first and second
time by especial order, and passed.
    Mr. Perry, from the committee, brings in and delivers to the speaker a bill, entitled, An act
to change the name of William Taylor, of Montgomery county; which was read the first time
and ordered to lie on the table.
The house adjourns till to-morrow morning 9 o'clock.

T    U    E    S    D    A    Y,    November 26, 1799.

    THE house met.  Present the same members as on yesterday.  The proceedings of yesterday
were read.
    The bill to authorise and empower the levy court of Montgomery county to assess and levy
annually a sum of money for the support of Michael O'Daniel, the bill to repeal an act, entitled,
An act to prevent the exportation of flour not merchantable from George-town, in Frederick
county, the bill to correct a mistake in an act, entitled, An act for the relief of Andrew Buchanan,
and to confirm all proceedings had, or hereafter to be had, under said act and a certain deed of
trust therein referred to, and the bill to compel the clerk of Dorchester county court to make out
a list of fees due the crier of said court, were sent to the senate by the clerk.
    Petitions from Jacob Keller, of Frederick county, William Stoneall, Matthew Clarke and
Thomas Bussey, of the city of Baltimore, Joseph Beck, of Montgomery county, Alexander Coulter,
of Baltimore county, Samuel W. Lee, of Harford county, William W. Brewer, of the city
of Annapolis, praying acts of insolvency, were preferred, read, and referred to the committee
appointed on petitions of a similar nature.
