shall shoot or in any manner catch, kill or have in his pos-
session any partridge between the 24th day of December and
the 1st day of November next ensuing, in each and every year;
nor any woodcock between the 15th day January and the 1st
day of July; nor any rabbit between the 24th day of Decem-
ber and the the 1st day of November next ensuing; nor shall
any person trap, destroy or molest the eggs or nests of any of
the said birds at any time.

catch or kill

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That any person who shall be con-
victed before a justice of the peace for said county of violating
the preceding section shall pay a fine of not less than five
dollars nor more than ten dollars, at the discretion of the
justice, for each and every partridge, woodcock or rabbit shot
or in any manner caught, killed or found in their possession
or for any partridge trapped, or for any partridge eggs or
nests wilfully or maliciously molested or destroyed contrary
to the preceding section; and in default of payment or the
fine imposed hereunder, together with the costs, shall be com-
mitted to jail for not less than thirty days for each and every
offense; and the non-payment of each and every fine shall be
considered a separate offense within the meaning of the pre-
ceding section.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 614.
AN ACT to Amend the Code of Public Local Laws, Article
3, title "Baltimore County," sub-title "Primary Elec-
tions," as amended by Chapter two hundred and sixty -one
of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety-two, by adding
a new section thereto, to follow Section nine, and to be
designated as Section 9A.

Penalty for
violation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section three, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Baltimore County," sub-title "Primary Elections," as
amended by Chapter two hundred and sixty-one of the Acts
of eighteen hundred and ninety -two, are hereby amended by
adding a new section thereto, to follow after Section nine,
and to be designated as Section 9 A, as follows:

Sec. 9A. If at any primary election, precinct meeting, or
any meeting held in Baltimore County, or any political party
