CHAPTER 587.

AN ACT to repeal Section forty, of Article 11, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County,"
sub-title "Birds and Game," as repealed and re-enacted by
Chapter one hundred and two, of the Acts of eighteen hun-
dred and ninety, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the. General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section forty, of Article n, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-title
"Birds and Game," as repealed and re-enacted by Chapter
one hundred and two, of the Acts of eighteen hundred and
ninety, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so
as read as follows:

Sec. 40. It shall be lawful for any person to catch, kill or
destroy pheasants, partridges or rabbits between November
15th and December 15th in each and every year, and it shall
be unlawful for any person to catch, kill or destroy any pheas-
ants, partridges or rabbits at any other time under penalty of
five dollars for each and every pheasant, partridge or rabbit
caught, taken or destroyed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 588.

AN ACT to ratify and confirm the charter of Christ Reform
Congregation of Middletown, Frederick County, Maryland,
to sanction the acquisition, holdings and disposing of by
the same of certain lands situated in Frederick County.

WHEREAS, The German Evangelical Reformed Congre-
gation of Christ Church of Middletown, Frederick County,
Maryland, a religious corporation formed under the pro-
visions of the Laws of Maryland, did on the 17th day of
September, A. D. 1899, change, alter and amend the con-

Evangelical Reformed Congregation of Christ Church of Mid'
