LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Public Local Laws, title "Talbot County," sub-title "Liquors
and Intoxicating Drinks," as follows:

False
statements of
persons under
twenty-one
years of age.

Penalty.

127 A. Any person being a minor under the age of twenty-
one years, who shall wilfully represent himself to. be twenty-
one years of age, or upward, to any licensed retailer of spirit-
uous or fermented liquors or lager beer in the said fourth
election district of Talbot County, for the purpose of purchas-
ing spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer from such
retailer, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on
conviction thereof shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less
than five dollars and not more than twenty-five dollars, and
to be imprisoned for not less than ten days and not more than
two months for each offense.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 586.

AN ACT granting and declaring the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the devise and bequest made by
and contained in the last will and testament of George W.
Bailey, late of Somerset County, deceased, to the Home of
the Friendless Children of the Eastern Shore of Maryland
at Easton, Md.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same is hereby given, granted and
declared to the devise and bequest made by and contained
in the last will and testament of George W. Bailey, late of
Somerset County, deceased, to the Home for Friendless Chil-
dren of the Eastern Shore of Maryland at Easton Md., of the
one-tenth part of the residue of the real and personal estate
of said George W. Bailey after the death of his wife, Sallie J.
Bailey, in event of the death of the testator's daughter, Eva
Bailey, without issue living at her death, the said Eva Bailey
having since died without leaving issue living, and the said
Sallie J. Bailey having also since died.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
