LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Corporations," sub-
title "Religious Corporations;" the certificates whereof is
recorded in the Record of Corporations No. 2, folio 435, etc.,
one of the record boods of corporations in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Frederick County, and as the
said corporation desires its constitution and charter as
amended and recorded as aforesaid ratified and confirmed,
and the acquisition, holdings and disposing of by the same
of certain lands situated in Frederick County sanctioned;
therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Constitution and charter of Christ Reformed
Congregation of Middletown, Frederick County, Maryland, a
religious corporation formed under the provisions of Article
23 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Corporations," sub-title "Religious Corporations;" the cer-
tificate whereof is recorded in Record of Corporation No. 2,
folio 435, etc., one of the record books of corporations in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Frederick County,

be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed, and that
said corporation shall have and possess all the powers, rights
and privileges possessed by it under its certificate of incor-
poration.

holding and
disposing of
certain lands,
etc.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That the sanction and
consent of the General Assembly of Maryland be and the
same is hereby declared , given and granted to the acquisi-
tion, holding and disposing of by the said corporation of the
lots of ground situated in or adjacent to Middletown, Frederick,
County, Maryland, described in the following deeds: First,
in a deed from Perry J. Levy, executor, to Rev. F. A. Rup-
ley, Joseph Wise and others as the consistory of the Evan-
gelical Reformed Congregation, dated on the first day of
April, in the year 1864, and recorded in Liber J. W. L. C.,
No. 1, folio 397, one of the land records of said Frederick
County; second, in a deed from Daniel Feete, et al., to Philip
Coblentz and others consistory of the Reformed Church of
Middletown, dated the first day of October, in the year 1878,
and recorded in Liber T. G., No. 10, folio 333, one of said
land records; third, in a deed from Clara V. Kepler to the
consistory of the German Evangelical Reformed Corporation
of Christ's Church of Middletown, Frederick County, Mary-
land, dated the twentieth day of January, in the year 1896,
and recorded in Liber J. L. J., No. 11, folio 524, one of said
land records; fourth, in a deed from Mary E. Remsburg,
executrix, to the consistory of the German Evangelical
