Queen Anne's
County.
Authority to
appoint
additional
constables in
certain district

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to appoint,
in addition to the two constables now provided for by law,
one other constable in the. seventh election district of said
county, who shall reside and have his office in the town of
Crumpton, in said district.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 575.
AN ACT to amend Article 1 1 , of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-title
"Wolves and Foxes," by adding three additional sections
thereto, to follow Section four hundred and sixty, of said
Article, and to be designated as Sections 460A, 460B and
460C.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-title "Wolves and
Foxes," be and the same is hereby amended by adding three
additional sections thereto, said additional sections to follow
Section four hundred and sixty, to be designated as Sections
460A, 460B and 460C.

Bounty for
killing mink
and wild cats.

460A. Every person who is an actual resident of said county
shall be entitled to an allowance from the county not to exceed
one dollar for every mink killed or destroyed by him, and an
allowance from the county not to exceed two dollars for every
wild cat killed or destroyed by him.

Shall produce
head and tails
and make oath,
etc.

460B. The person killing any mink or wild cat shall pro-
duce the head and tail of the same before some justice of the
peace for said county, and make oath that said mink or wild
cat was taken, wounded or killed within the limits of said
county, within six days then next preceding, and said justice
shall thereupon give such person a certificate wherein he shall
set forth the said oath, and shall at the same time cut off the
ears and tail and cut out the tongue from such so as to pre-
vent a second allowance therefor.

460C. The County Commissioners shall levy the amount of
such allowance upon the production of the certificate of the

justice for the use of the person holding the same.
