CHAPTER 572.
AN ACT to prohibit the sale of intoxicating liquors at Rux-
ton Station, Baltimore County, Maryland, or within a radius
of a mile thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful to sell spirituous or intoxi-
cating liquors at Ruxton Station, Northern Central Railroad,
Baltimore County, Maryland, or within a radius of one mile
of the said Station.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any person or per-
sons or corporation who may violate the provisions of this Act
shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not less
than fifty dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or im-
prisonment in the county jail for not less than thirty days nor
more than one year, or both such fine and imprisonment, in
the discretion of the Court.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 573.
AN ACT to require the Board of County Commissioners of
Calvert County to levy the sum of five hundred dollars to
reimburse the Board of School Commissioners of Calvert
County for money expended in building a school-house at
Solomon's Island.

violation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Calvert County be
and they are hereby authorized and required to levy the sum
of five hundred dollars upon the assessable property of Cal-
vert County at the next levy to reimburse the Board of School
Commissioners for money expended in erecting and furnishing
a school-house at Solomon's Island, in Calvert County.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 574.
AN ACT authorizing and empowering the County Commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's County to appoint an additional
constable for the seventh election district of said county.
